Request road signs, traffic data, and traffic signal or pedestrian crossover designs from Niagara Region. These services are available to municipalities, government agencies and approved contractors working on Regional roads.
Stock road signs
Municipalities, agencies and approved contractors can order stock signs and sign posts through Niagara Region's sign shop.
Processing time: Stock signs and sign posts are ready within 48 hours. Installation timing depends on project requirements and crew availability.

Custom road signs
Municipalities, agencies and approved contractors can order custom signs through Niagara Region's sign shop.
Processing time: Custom signs take approximately six to eight weeks. Installation timing depends on project requirements and crew availability.

Traffic data
Traffic engineers, developers and consultants can request data collected on Regional roads to support traffic studies, development applications and transportation planning.
Processing time: A minimum of 15 business days is required from the date of application and receipt of all required documents.
Traffic signal or pedestrian crossover design
Approved municipal agencies and government bodies can request design and installation services for traffic signals and pedestrian crossovers on Regional roads. Available request types include:
- Traffic signal design
- Intersection pedestrian signals
- Pedestrian priority signals
- Pedestrian crossovers (intersection and midblock)
- Warning flashers (intersection and midblock)
Approved agencies only. This service is available to municipalities, Niagara Parks Commission and the Ministry of Transportation. Requests from other parties will not be processed.
